Meet the Owner

A free spirit at heart, Jessica grew up in the laid-back beach town of Encinitas, CA.  Since planning her own incredible wedding in 2006 she knew that creating spectacular events was truly her life's calling.  Bringing to the table a knack for service, a keen eye for design, and an impeccable attention to detail Jessica worked as an assistant under several wedding and event planners before launching Free Spirit Weddings & Events in early 2006.

Jessica holds a BA in Visual and Performing Arts from California State University San Marcos, where she graduated Cum Laude.  Aside from planning and overseeing more than 40 weddings and events She teaches and performs Polynesian dance, paints, draws, and sews.  She currently resides in the sunny beach community of Carlsbad, CA with her husband and daughter.
